Had a fabulous 2course meal with a glass wine. Lovely view over harbour and Paignton pier. Food delicious. Well cooked included vegetables.well presented.

This restaurant is a hidden gem. Fantastic views across the harbour and the most delicious menu. Staff are wonderful and so friendly. We enjoyed a mushroom starter with a sauce so lovely, ifI wasat home, i would have licked the plate. followed by fish of the day with crispy skin and an amazing array of vegetables. I found room for dessert, strawberry bommbe cheesecake and chocolate ganache. We were so impressed, we returned following night for Chicken. What can I say, if you get the chance it is definitelyworth a visit, you will not be disappointed.

We had the most wonderful meal at TJ's on our summer getaway. The waitress, Helen, was very accommodating when we asked to sit on the balcony even though we had not reserved a seat outside. The views were stunning across the harbour. Service was excellent, Helen was so friendly and chatty. The food was incredible, not a bad word to say about any of it. We had the scallops, calamari & mushrooms to start, mussels & steak for the main. Would highly recommend and will definitely return in the future.

The food in TJ's is fantastic, super fresh seafood was cooked perfectly. The view over the harbour with the pier in the background is a winner. Helen our host could not have been more helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be coming back here next time we are in Paignton.

They had a bit of a mare with the fish delivery yesterday, it was not up to their usual great standards so the rejected shoddy half of it this meant they were short for Friday night service. It was busy and the 2 service staff did all they could. The food was 1st class once it eventually arrived! We had cod instead of the sea bass which was finished. Beautifully cooked and the veg was also delicious. They tried hard in difficult circumstances so cannot mark them down for this.

A hidden jewel! What a magnificent find, who would have thought there would be a restaurant of this standard in a small coastal town like Paignton! Excellent food at very reasonable prices, fantastic view of the harbour with a great atmosphere and excellent service from Helen and all the staff. We will definitely be back even though it is a 90 minute drive from home.

A lovely place to eat with a great view of the harbour. The food was fantastic. It was a quiet when we visited for a late dinner.
